On October 27 and 28, Dr. Stephanie Doniger will speak on using POCUS for pediatrics, and on October 28 and 29, Dr. Felipe Teran will speak on using TEE in resuscitation at ACEP19 in Denver.
Stephanie Doniger, MD is one of the leading experts in pediatric point-of-care ultrasound. She was the one of the first clinicians to complete an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship in 2008. Dr. Doniger has authored numerous book chapters and has been extensively involved in research with over 50 peer-reviewed publications. She edited the first textbook Pediatric Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound and has co-authored national policy statements for pediatric POCUS.
Felipe Teran, MD MSCE FACEP is an emergency physician in the Division of Emergency Ultrasound and Investigator at the Center for Resuscitation Science in the Department of Emergency Medicine at University of Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and is a Testamur of the National Board of Echocardiography Critical Care Echocardiography Examination (2019). Dr Teran currently leads the resuscitative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) program at University of Pennsylvania Health System. His work focuses on critical care ultrasound, TEE, and cardiac arrest resuscitation.
